Terms & Conditions Events & Group Bookings
Status March 2025

The following terms and conditions for events and group bookings at Hotel Jungfraublick, Wengen, supplement the General Terms and Conditions of Jungfraublick AG. They specifically govern aspects such as reservation, changes, cancellations, and payments in relation to event and group bookings. “Event” includes seminars, events and catering offers.

1. Reservation of Events / Groups
The confirmation sent to you in writing is binding. We reserve the right to store your credit card information or request a deposit to guarantee the booking.

2. Changes and cancellations of Events / Groups
Cancellations must be made in writing. We reserve the right to adjust the conditions individually depending on the event or group and to specify them in the offer or confirmation. Unless otherwise agreed, the following regulations apply.

2.1. Events
Cancellations or changes of events are possible up to 60 days before the event for a fee of CHF 60.00. After this period, the following fees apply:
59 – 31 days before the event: 25% of the event cost for cancellation or rescheduling
30 – 15 days before the event: 50% of the event cost for cancellation or rescheduling
14 – 3 days before the event: 90% of the event cost for cancellation or rescheduling
2 – 0 days before the event: 100% of the event cost for cancellation or rescheduling

2.1.1. Number of participants
The exact number of participants must be submitted in writing no later than 2 weeks before the event. Deviations of up to 10% of the final number can be reported up to 3 days before the event. After that, the specified number is considered binding. Additional costs will be charged for a higher actual number of participants.

2.2. Groups
Group bookings for 5 – 14 rooms can be cancelled free of charge up to 30 days before arrival. After that, the following conditions apply:
29 – 15 days before arrival: Free cancellation for up to 50% of the booked rooms
14 – 4 days before arrival: Free cancellation for up to 20% of the booked rooms
3 days before arrival: 100% of the booked rooms will be charged

Group bookings for 15 – 40 rooms can be cancelled free of charge up to 60 days before arrival. After that, the following conditions apply:
59 – 22 days before arrival: Free cancellation for up to 50% of the booked rooms
21 – 14 days before arrival: Free cancellation for up to 20% of the booked rooms
13 days before arrival: 100% of the booked rooms will be charged

2.3. Withdrawal by the Hotel
We may withdraw from the contract if the agreed deposit is not paid even after the expiry of a grace period. In addition, we may withdraw from the contract for objectively justified reasons, such as force majeure or other circumstances for which we are not responsible. In this case, there is no claim for damages.

3. Payment conditions
The offered and confirmed prices and conditions are binding. The payments must be made as follows:
50% of the total amount within 15 days after receiving the confirmation.
The remaining amount must be paid before arrival and/or the event.
If no deposit is made, we reserve the right, according to Section 2.3 of these terms, to withdraw from the contract.
